Mt Hood Elopement Photographer
For couples dreaming of alpine views, lush forests, and crystal clear lakes.
If you’re thinking about eloping on Mt Hood, it’s probably because you want something that feels a little quieter. Less structured. More intentional.
Mt Hood has a way of slowing things down. Whether you’re standing by an alpine lake at sunset or walking through wildflowers in the middle of summer, it doesn’t feel rushed or overcomplicated.
I’m Lana, the photographer behind Wild Pines Photography. I document Mt Hood elopements in a way that feels natural and grounded—so your day doesn’t turn into a photoshoot, it just unfolds the way it’s meant to.
Why Elope on Mt Hood
Mt Hood is one of the most versatile places to elope in Oregon.
Within a relatively small area, you can choose between:
Lakes with clear reflections of the mountain
Wildflower meadows in peak summer
Dense forest trails and waterfalls
Snow-covered landscapes in winter
It works for couples who want something simple, but still meaningful—and visually incredible without needing to overcomplicate the day.
📍 Best Places to Elope on Mt Hood
Trillium Lake
One of the most iconic locations on Mt Hood. Easy to access, with open views and strong reflections—especially at sunrise and sunset.
Mirror Lake
A short hike leads to a quieter, more tucked-away setting with beautiful reflections and fewer crowds.
Timberline Lodge Area
Higher elevation, more alpine feel. You can find open landscapes, snow well into the year, and dramatic views without a long hike.
Tamanawas Falls
A completely different environment—lush forest and a large waterfall. Great if you want something more moody and less exposed.
👉 I help you narrow this down based on your vision, the season, and how much movement or privacy you want in your day.
Lana stands out among wedding photographers in all the best ways. She is direct, transparent, and communicative. She is also reasonable, flexible, and easy to work with. We are so happy with the photos themselves: the quality, the moments Lana captured, and the speed at which she delivered. Her calm, professional energy really helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, too. Thank you Lana for capturing the joy and beauty of our wedding!

Rain is always a possibility with an Oregon elopement, but it doesn’t have to take away from the experience. I help couples prepare with flexible timelines, backup options, and location guidance so the day still feels beautiful and intentional. Some of the most romantic elopement images happen in mist, fog, and soft rain, and Oregon weather can add so much atmosphere to your day.
-
he cost of an Oregon elopement photographer can vary depending on coverage time, location, travel, and what is included in the experience. Most Oregon elopement photographers charge anywhere from $3,000 to $8,000+, with pricing often based on whether the package includes planning support, location scouting, timeline assistance, permit guidance, and travel.
At Wild Pines Photography, Oregon elopement packages are designed for couples who want more than just beautiful photos — they want a meaningful, well-documented experience. Whether you are planning a simple coastal ceremony or a full-day adventure in the mountains, your photography investment reflects the time, care, planning, and storytelling that go into creating a day that feels true to you.
-
Once you’re ready to move forward, the process is simple and relaxed. Start by reaching out through my inquiry form and sharing a little about your vision, date, and the kind of Oregon elopement experience you’re dreaming of. From there, we’ll connect, talk through your plans, and make sure we’re the right fit.
After choosing your package, I’ll send over a contract and retainer to officially reserve your date. From there, I’ll help guide you through the next steps, including location ideas, planning support, timeline guidance, and all the details that help your day feel intentional and stress-free. My goal is to make the process feel easy, personal, and exciting from start to finish so you can focus on the experience and not just the logistics.
-
Once you’re ready to book, I’ll send over your contract, invoice, and all the details needed to officially reserve your date. A retainer is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is broken into payments leading up to your elopement. This keeps the process simple, organized, and a little more manageable so you can focus on planning a beautiful day.
-
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your elopement date. Because I take on a limited number of bookings and hold your date exclusively, the retainer and any payments made are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you need to reschedule, I will always do my best to transfer your booking to a new date, depending on availability. If I am able to photograph your elopement on the new date, payments made may be applied toward the rescheduled booking.

Yes — I photograph elopements throughout Oregon, including the Oregon Coast, Central Oregon, and the Mount Hood area. Whether you’re dreaming of beach views, desert cliffs, alpine lakes, mountain scenery, or forest backdrops, I help couples choose a location that fits their vision and create an experience that feels intentional and beautiful.
-
Yes — I help couples with Oregon elopement permits and location logistics as part of the planning process. Some Oregon elopement locations require permits or have specific rules around ceremonies, parking, guest counts, accessibility, or seasonal access, and I help guide couples through those details so the process feels clear and manageable.
From choosing a location to thinking through timing, travel, privacy, and overall flow, I help make sure your Oregon elopement experience feels intentional, beautiful, and well planned from the start.
How to elope at Mt. Hood
Planning an elopement here is simpler than most people expect.
Choose your location
We’ll find a spot that fits your vision and comfort level—whether that’s something easily accessible or more remote.
Consider permits
Some areas require permits depending on group size or setup. I’ll guide you through what’s needed.
Build a loose timeline
Enough structure to make the most of the light, but not so much that the day feels rigid.
Be present
Once the day starts, you don’t need to think about logistics. You just get to be in it.
Planning and Oregon Elopement?
I’d love to help you plan a day that feels beautiful, intentional, and true to your story.
You two have your own history, chemistry, and reason you fit together. The small gestures you both make for each other. The silent commitments you make every day for one another and the reassurance that you’re not alone.
That's what I capture.
