For couples planning a wedding day that feels beautiful, meaningful, and true to who they are.

Portland offers something most places don’t—

it gives you space to create a wedding that actually reflects you.

Best Places to Get Married in Portland

As a Portland wedding photographer, I’ve spent years exploring locations that feel both stunning and meaningful. Whether you want something wild or refined, there’s no shortage of incredible places to get married here.

Forest & Nature Weddings

  • Forest Park

  • Hoyt Arboretum

  • Cathedral Park

Columbia River Gorge Weddings

  • Waterfall elopements

  • Cliffside ceremonies overlooking the river

  • Private scenic overlooks

Garden & Intimate Venues

  • Leach Botanical Garden

  • Backyard weddings throughout Portland neighborhoods

  • Private estates and hidden venues

If you’re not sure where to start, I help all my couples find a location that fits their vision—not just what’s popular.

My Approach to Portland Wedding Photography

I don’t believe in overly posed weddings or turning your day into a photoshoot.

My approach is simple:

  • I guide when needed

  • I step back when it matters

  • I document what’s real

Your wedding day should feel like your life—not a production.

I focus on:

  • Honest, emotional moments

  • Natural movement and connection

  • Film-inspired tones and storytelling

Whether it’s a quiet exchange of vows, a champagne toast in a field, or the in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening—those are the images that matter.

Lana stands out among wedding photographers in all the best ways. She is direct, transparent, and communicative. She is also reasonable, flexible, and easy to work with. We are so happy with the photos themselves: the quality, the moments Lana captured, and the speed at which she delivered. Her calm, professional energy really helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, too. Thank you Lana for capturing the joy and beauty of our wedding!

More Than Just Beautiful Photos

Hi! I’m Lana, a mother of a 3-year-old and a wife living in La Pine, Oregon. I have 2 goats, 4 chickens, 4 dogs, and 2 cats! I’ve been a photographer for over 15 years and have traveled the world. I’ve been featured in Oprah Magazine and the Huffington Post, and I've worked with brands such as Harley-Davidson, Indian, Vans, and more.

When you work with me, you’re getting more than photography coverage. I help guide the process with a calm presence, thoughtful support, and an eye for the moments that matter most. From location ideas to natural direction in front of the camera, my goal is to help your elopement feel seamless, intentional, and genuinely enjoyable.

The magic of your day is real, and I’m here to capture it.

My approach blends natural light, film tones, and candid storytelling to create a gallery that reflects the true mood of your wedding day.
