Torrance & James | Cannon Beach Oregon Elopement
Some love stories begin long before the wedding day, and Torrance and James' is one of them. As high school sweethearts, they've spent years growing together, making their intimate April elopement on the Oregon Coast the perfect way to begin their next chapter.
Spring on the Oregon Coast can be unpredictable, but we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Clear skies, sunshine, and calm weather welcomed us to Cannon Beach, creating the perfect backdrop for their relaxed and meaningful celebration.
After exchanging vows surrounded by their closest family and friends, we explored some of Cannon Beach's most iconic scenery before heading to Elk Flats for even more breathtaking coastal views. One of my favorite moments of the day was surprising them with a cozy champagne picnic overlooking the ocean. It gave them a chance to slow down, soak it all in, and simply enjoy their first moments together as husband and wife.
As the evening light softened, we returned to the beach for golden hour portraits beneath the towering silhouette of Haystack Rock. The warm light reflecting across the sand, the crashing waves, and the joy they shared made for the kind of photographs that feel timeless. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable Oregon Coast elopement.
If you're dreaming of a Cannon Beach elopement or intimate Oregon Coast wedding, April can be one of the best times to visit. The beaches are often quieter than peak summer months, the temperatures are comfortable, and when the weather cooperates, you'll be rewarded with incredible sunsets and some of the most beautiful light of the year.
Whether you're planning a private elopement, a mini wedding with your closest family, or an adventurous celebration along the Oregon Coast, Cannon Beach offers an unforgettable setting. From the dramatic shoreline and iconic Haystack Rock to hidden overlooks like Elk Flats, it's one of Oregon's most magical places to say "I do."
