A June Wedding at Hollinshead Park in Bend, Oregon
If you’re dreaming of a rustic, romantic, and timeless setting for your wedding, Hollinshead Park in Bend, Oregon is one of the most charming venues in Central Oregon. With its historic Hollinshead Barn, sprawling lawns, and golden June light, it’s a perfect backdrop for couples who want a wedding that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
The bride and groom I photographed were able to take over the space and make it their own with relative ease. The barn is located centrally in Bend, Oregon. It has ample parking and a nice, big, grassy park with oak trees and a small community garden.
The bride and groom were worried about the weather in early June, but it ended up being perfect! They chose midday for the wedding, so we utilized the trees to offer shade for the bride and groom, which also helped with photos.
After the ceremony, I photographed the bride and groom at the venue and the foothills surrounding the venue. There is a rustic barn that sits next to Hollinshead Barn and a pretty open field with many trees to shade the bride and groom during peak sun hours.
The groom made an entrance and road his mountain bike down the hill with his son to the wedding aisle!
