They are dressed formally, with the man in a tuxedo and the woman wearing rings, necklaces, and bracelets. The woman has blonde hair and a smiling expression, while the man has brown hair and is gently smiling with his eyes closed.

Your elopement day doesn’t have to follow a traditional timeline, happen inside a venue, or include a hundred guests.

It can be just the two of you exchanging vows beside the ocean. Hiking into the mountains with your closest people. Drinking champagne beside an alpine lake. Renting a cabin in the woods and spending the entire weekend together.

As an Oregon elopement photographer, I photograph intimate weddings and adventurous elopements throughout Oregon with a candid, documentary approach. My goal is to create photographs that feel like your memories — imperfect, emotional, nostalgic, and completely yours.

Candid, romantic elopement photography

Oregon might be one of the best places in the country to elope because you don't have to choose just one kind of landscape.

Exchange vows beneath towering evergreens in the Columbia River Gorge. Spend sunset barefoot on the Oregon Coast. Head into the Cascades for mountain views and alpine lakes. Explore the high desert around Bend, or disappear into the forests surrounding Mount Hood.

ELOPE ON THE OREGON COAST

Your elopement doesn't have to look like anyone else's wedding.

Maybe you spend the morning drinking coffee together in a little coastal cabin before getting ready.

Maybe you exchange private vows overlooking the ocean, celebrate with cake and champagne on the beach, and spend the rest of the evening exploring the coastline.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to plan every minute.

And you definitely don't need to spend your entire wedding day looking at my camera.

I'll give you direction when you need it, but I'm much more interested in the way you naturally interact with each other.

The wind catching your veil.

Your hands shaking before your vows.

The look you give each other when you realize you're actually married.

Running into the ocean.

Champagne spilling everywhere.

The quiet moments when you think nobody is watching.

Those are the photographs I want you to have forever.

YOUR CANNON BEACH ELOPEMENT EXPERIENCE

Or maybe you invite a handful of the people you love most and create an intimate wedding weekend in Cannon Beach.

There are no rules for what your day has to look like.

The best Cannon Beach elopements aren't about fitting as much as possible into a timeline. They're about slowing down and creating space to actually experience the day you're getting married.

WHERE TO ELOPE IN CANNON BEACH

Every Chapter of Your Love Story

Ecola State Park

Ecola combines two of my favorite Oregon landscapes: dense coastal forest and sweeping views of the Pacific.

It's a beautiful choice for couples who want their elopement photographs to feel unmistakably Pacific Northwest.

Cannon Beach & Haystack Rock

The enormous sea stack creates an incredible backdrop for portraits and intimate celebrations, especially when the evening light begins to soften.

Hug Point

Just south of Cannon Beach, Hug Point offers cliffs, caves, sandy shoreline, and a seasonal waterfall.

It's an incredible place to explore together and gives your gallery a completely different feeling from the wide-open beaches around Cannon Beach.

Indian Beach

Tucked inside Ecola State Park, Indian Beach has a rugged, secluded feeling with forested cliffs surrounding the coastline.

It's especially beautiful for couples drawn to moodier Oregon Coast scenery.

Lana was absolutely amazing for our elopement at Lake of the Woods! She arrived early, stayed late, took time to connect with us, and managed our parents’ quirks with ease. Her photos speak for themselves... stunning, and we feel so lucky she shared her talent with us on the best day!
