A Cannon Beach Elopement

Venue: Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park

Season: End of Summer| Guests: 2 | Duration 4 hours

A Slow, Intentional Cannon Beach Elopement with Just Two Guests

Some weddings are filled with hundreds of people and months of planning. Others are built around what matters most.

Krystyna and Collin chose the second.

Instead of worrying about a packed timeline or entertaining a crowd, they planned an intimate Cannon Beach elopement centered entirely around celebrating their relationship. With only two guests by their side, the day felt peaceful, intentional, and completely true to them.

Krystyna decided to splurge on the things that would last forever—her stunning hotel, an absolutely breathtaking wedding dress, and one of the most beautiful bouquets I've seen on the Oregon Coast. Everything else was intentionally simple, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it belonged: on the two of them.

As the evening light softened, we returned to the beach for golden hour portraits beneath the towering silhouette of Haystack Rock. The warm light reflecting across the sand, the crashing waves, and the joy they shared made for the kind of photographs that feel timeless. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable Oregon Coast elopement.

If you're dreaming of a Cannon Beach elopement or intimate Oregon Coast wedding, April can be one of the best times to visit. The beaches are often quieter than peak summer months, the temperatures are comfortable, and when the weather cooperates, you'll be rewarded with incredible sunsets and some of the most beautiful light of the year.

Whether you're planning a private elopement, a mini wedding with your closest family, or an adventurous celebration along the Oregon Coast, Cannon Beach offers an unforgettable setting. From the dramatic shoreline and iconic Haystack Rock to hidden overlooks like Elk Flats, it's one of Oregon's most magical places to say "I do."
